Hans (C.J.) Kok (1959) received his Master of Science and PhD in Biology (specialisation: Aquatic Ecology) from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. After his PhD, he worked at Wageningen University as researcher in biological control of plant diseases, and soil (micro) biology, as project leader and head of department. He was involved in changing the research institutes of Wageningen University in client-oriented commercial institutions. From 2009 -2012 he worked in a spin-off company from Wageningen University, developing and producing environmentally friendly pesticides. He was head R&D, business developer and responsible for intellectual property protection. Since 2012 he works as staff member and teacher at the European Leadership Academy and the School of Missions of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, teaching a.o. cross-cultural contacts, project management and team building. Since February 2016 Hans Kok is Dean at the International Business School, The Hague.
