Short Course in Financial Analysis and Corporate Valuation

Short Course in Financial Analysis and Corporate Valuation

Duration: 5 Day Training Session

Learning Objectives

This course is an applied executive education course designed for managers who need to understand how companies create value, how financial performance is evaluated, and how investment and acquisition decisions are made. The course equips participants with the practical skills needed to analyze financial statements, assess corporate financial health, interpret key performance indicators, understand stock market valuation, and evaluate businesses using widely applied valuation methods. Participants learn how investors, lenders, analysts, and corporate decision-makers assess company performance and value.

Through real-world cases, annual report analysis, valuation exercises, and investment simulations, participants gain the ability to identify financial strengths and weaknesses, understand ownership structures and shareholder interests, evaluate investment opportunities, and contribute effectively to strategic discussions involving growth, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to communicate confidently with financial specialists, oversee investment and due diligence processes, critically assess financial recommendations, and make better-informed managerial decisions based on financial analysis and valuation principles.

The course is intended for managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, board members, and professionals involved in strategy, investment, business development, or corporate governance who require a practical understanding of financial analysis and corporate valuation without pursuing specialist financial careers.
